Training Pathway Management

The new Waka Kotahi training and competency model has brought about substantial changes to the way people are trained for TTM competency. Here at Parallaxx we recognise the importance of educating our clients on the most cost and time effective pathway to obtaining the correct qualifications for the jobs they carry out on a day-to-day basis.

The Parallaxx Training Pathway Management service deploys an experienced consultant to analyse current and/or expired CoPTTM warrants and work activities of all staff in an organisation to create a bespoke training map. This map aims to match the relevant warrant to the job each worker performs on a day-to-day basis. This new service is in response to the observation that organisations are often discovering that they have over trained their staff at a significant cost, or staff have ended up with a qualification that is not fit for purpose.

The Parallaxx Training Pathway Management service assists an organisation in 5 parts:

  • Analysing current qualifications of all staff
  • Deciding what qualifications are required based on work activity
  • Creating a bespoke qualification map for the organisation
  • Creating a training schedule (this can be spread over several months or even years to facilitate renewing qualifications)
  • Facilitation of the training and competency process
