Challenge

To individually assess over 170 VMS boards around the country, collate accurate information regarding the road environment they are situated in and recommend appropriate temporary traffic management methods for both the inspection of each board, as well as heavy maintenance too.

Solution

Creation of a master assets list complete with every road environment attribute and constraint. From here each site was allocated an appropriate temporary traffic management operation to suit the needs of the work proposed. Each RCA gets a TMP will only the assets that are within their network, with each of those assets identified and referenced.
