Challenge

Auckland Transport approached them to assist with developing COPTTM compliant temporary solutions to trial methods for slowing traffic around local schools in Auckland. The challenge was understanding the aims of AT and the schools and finding a solution that complied with COPTTM, and could be installed for one day only

Solution

We worked with the client to understand their requirements and then liaised with the RCA with our proposed methods to ensure compliance and their acceptance of the proposals. We also supplied the on site gear, and personnel to monitor the trial each day and ensure that the TTM was installed as per the design

Results

Though this project is still ongoing, the first three trials have been successful and different options are continuing to be trialled
