Challenge

The placement of overhead lines across the full length of Auckland's rail network required the installation of bridge shields on every overbridge across Auckland to ensure safety of the high voltage lines from public above. 80+ locations with both sides of each bridge requiring multiple visits meant for a significant amount of quick-turnaround TMP design and management.

Solution

Parallaxx provided TMP design for all 80+ sites and achieved preparation, review and approval of all TMPs to allow execution of the whole project within 6 weeks.

Results

Our relationship with the RCA (Auckland Transport) was critical to ensure visibility of all the sites. Good communication of programming of sites was and important step to building trust and ensuring disruption as minimal.
