Challenge

The Eastern Busway 1 portion of the comprehensive AMETI suite of projects involves an upgrade from Panmure Roundabout through to Ti Rakau Drive. A very narrow corridor in some places, some very major intersections, and a tidal-flow bridge all make for a complex and demanding upgrade project requiring detailed staging and coordination and some complex traffic modelling.

Solution

Parallaxx is involved with the project to provide TMP design support, consultancy support, training, Traffic Impact Assessments and hire equipment. We've been involved right from tender time and the challenging spatial constraints meant our support was critical to integrate into the programme and staging planning of the project from day one.

Results

One of our consultancy team is focussed on this project along side one of our key traffic engineers due to the high degree of complex modelling requirements. The use of CAD based TMP design means we can be extremely accurate with overlapping stages and a 'one-stop-shop' approach has meant Fulton Hogan can call on us for numerous components of the project through our singular experience TTM consultant at any time.
